Also, for out-of-towners, there's a couple of close hotels, & resturants rt near the local Thruway access ( less than a mile or two away ).
We had a family reunion/Graduation party here, and it was FANTASTIC!! We reserved it with the Town of Hamburg ahead of time, (We'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you also do tge same - BOTH reserve it, and go early, and put up signs, so others know you've reserved it for the day, and incase of early arrivals.) and put up paper signs that morning, and started decorating ( just a couple of Congratulations signs, along with our family reunion name ).
2 playsets, basketball court and 2 baseball diamonds. Also 1 large shelter.
Nice park. We went for the playground but it was COVERED in bird poop.
It was the BEST family reunion we ever had!! There's a pavilion there, along with picnic tables & grilling facillities. There's lots of open land to play on, its like partying out in the country in the middle of a suburb. There's also a playground with reg playground equipment for the kids to enjoy, and plenty of parking for all the family members!!
It's also located close to our house, so we could go back & forth as needed, along with afterwards, an easy couple min drive for the out-of-towners to come to visit.
Love the open space. So much room for family activities. Bocce ball..soccer ect. Also a basketball court and baseball diamond. Bathrooms quick drive on same property. Wooded perimeter of park. Nice shelter with picnic tables. Make sure they don't have you scheduled same day as someone else thou! That happened to us!! Show up for yearly family picnic and another family was already there! Other than that only good experiences there!!
It's a great park with a bunch of equipment kids can play on.
