The place is clean and comfortable. The staff is willing to help and nice. Language barrier can get a little frustrating but all and all the place works well for a short stay and visit in Buffalo / Hamburg New York
Good breakfast selection. Jen and Shakera on the management staff are very accommodating.
Easy off/on from the highway. Clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was typical. It was a good choice for my family of 5. Only complaint was that the window to our room was broken and would fully close. Though it was cold outside, we were able to compensate with the heater.
I usually don't like to complain and I am very non-confrontational person.But experience I had last weekend in one of your hotel was absolutely terrible.I was in Comfort inn,hamburg,NY from June 24 to June 25.First of all the receptionist who checked in was very unfriendly.She did not greet us at all,which all receptionist are expected to do in hospitality industry.Anyway she seems pissed off with the fact that we booked room for 2 adult and 1 child and her system was not allowed her to checked us in.She talked to her colleague "Why don't they told him when he booked online that you cant have 3 people checked in one room."I tried to explain her that I never had problem with any other hotel about it.But anyhow she checked us in.I asked her to give us a room close to other family we were with but she gave me the room totally at the opposite end. At least she should have tried to give the room somewhat closer.Anyway this were very minor things.Now main problem was when we were sleeping,in middle of the night at 1:26 am,I received a call on the room phone.It woke us up and before I pick up the phone it hung up.My 3 years old had fever and we gave her medicine and this woke her up.Now suddenly I saw that someone was trying to enter in my room.I had latch lock on so door did not open.Then somebody knocked on the door.I immediately called the front desk to inquire about what's going on?The front desk replied. "I did not know that this room was occupied as the previous clerk did not check you in.So I rented this room to someone else."My daughter was crying so I did not argue much on phone and hung the phone down.But she simply did not apologize for disturbing our sleep.It was simply no customer service at all.Needless to say that all 3 of us were horrified and could not get back to sleep.It took us 3 hours to get my daughter to sleep. We finally went to sleep around 4:30.This was really unacceptable as we could not rest.The whole purpose of staying in hotel was to have a rest to get us ready for a long trip next day.The night was really wasted and we did not feel rested.In the hotel I have seen many places it has written that "we are committed to your excellence and if you are not satisfied with your experience let the front desk know immediately."I immediately informed the front desk clerk in the morning about accident.It was the same clerk who checked me in previous day.She just gave me a look and says "I don't know why somebody do that."She did not even apologize for the inconvenience.So all in all this was such a strange and horrifying experience.
No fridge. Couldn't block all the light from the parking lot out. Nice continental. Priced accordingly.
